Sweden has introduced new drone swarm technology that allows different types of UAVs to work together.

 

Unveiled by Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson, the tech will be demonstrated in February during the Arctic Strike military exercise.

 

Developed by Saab and the Swedish Armed Forces, the system uses 55.1-lb drones, allowing soldiers to control up to 100 at once for tasks like intelligence, surveillance, and communication. 

 

The drones can still send data in tough electronic environments. Saab says personnel can learn to operate the system in just a few days.
